How to interrupt energy dips


Did you know that when you catch yourself in a downward spiral, you can interrupt the dip very rapidly? Here are the steps I follow.


Tune inwards: Close your eyes, connect to your heart space and ask, “How do I really feel?".


If you feel out of alignment in any way...


Thank what you find: Thank the predominant feeling / thought for making you aware of what you don’t want, and state your intention to want to shift it.


Find a small movement up: Find what Abraham Hicks call the “next best emotional state”. Don't look for a solution or an end goal at this stage, only small movements upwards. For example, don’t go from feeling jealous to feeling joy in one go – that wouldn’t feel authentic. Instead, you might find that anger is the next best authentic state to get motivated to do something about your situation. Once you've worked through anger, you move up until your emotions are no longer blocking you.
