About Gabrielle Pimstone

30 years experience in organisational transformation
Certified coach, depth facilitator & resilience practitioner
BA (Hons) Industrial Psychology

I have spent over 25 years working across 60 organisations and 18 countries - from frontline teams to boards - helping them navigate change that is complex, continuous, and high stakes. I don't arrive with predetermined answers. I work by listening openly without an agenda and reading the patterns that others don't always see. And I draw on almost three decades of experience, methods and tools to respond to what I find.

But it didn't start that way.

My first job in the field was with a global consultancy in Sydney. The work was competent and well-resourced. It was also entirely formulaic - the same approach applied regardless of the organisation, the culture, or its capacity to absorb change. I grew increasingly uneasy with that. The question the formula answered was how to implement change. The question I kept coming back to was whether the conditions inside the organisation could actually support it.

A few years later, my work in an investment bank that practiced a culture-driven approach to change gave me the language for what I had been sensing. Change is not a technical problem to be solved with the right methodology. It is a human and systemic one, and it requires a fundamentally different kind of practice.

That is the practice I have been building ever since. It is grounded in organisation development, shaped by decades of working at a strategic level with senior leaders, and driven by a genuine curiosity about what it takes for organisations and the people in them to do hard things well.

If any of that resonates, I would love to have a conversation.
