BUILD
Capability Uplift

Builds the skills and posture to lead continuous change and uncertainty with foresight, clarity, and steadiness. Available as standalone masterclasses or cohort-based programs applied to live challenges.

THE PROBLEM

Most people leading change today were developed in an era when change had a beginning, a middle, and an end. The skills that served them well - managing programs, driving implementation, communicating plans - were built for that world. Continuous change, complexity, and sustained uncertainty don't respond to those skills.
The gap between what change leaders and practitioners know how to do and what the current environment demands of them is widening.
For some organisations, the answer is to keep bringing in external support. For others, the more important investment is building the internal capability to lead this work themselves - so the organisation can become progressively less dependent on outside help.

WHAT CHANGES

Change leaders and practitioners develop the insight, behaviours, and tools to lead adaptively, not just manage the next initiative.
Over time, that capability compounds. The organisation gets better at change not because it runs better change programs, but because the people leading it know how to read the environment, hold uncertainty, manage competing demands, and learn from each cycle in ways that make the next one better.
For organisations that invest in the practitioner pathway, something more significant shifts - the capability to lead this work stops sitting with a few people and starts living inside the organisation.

WHAT IT INVOLVES

There are three ways to build adaptive leadership capability. Each stands alone. No tier is a pre-requisite for another.
Masterclass Series - Leading Through Uncertainty
Six standalone half-day sessions, available individually or as a full series. Each one addresses one or two of the eight adaptive capacity dimensions. No prerequisite required.

Adapt as You Deliver

Applied Cohort Program - Adaptive Leadership in Practice
Five full-day workshops over 6 months in peer cohorts of up to 15. Recommended to follow the Adaptive Health Check. Between workshops, participants apply learning directly to a live challenge they are navigating

My Adaptive Leadership Baseline - self-assessment across all eight dimensions to identify strengths, blind spots, and development priorities

Reading the System - making sense of what is actually happening in your team and organisation during change

Creating the Conditions - build and hold the foundations the system needs before it can adapt

Transforming the System - become the engine of adaptation, actively driving the organisation's capacity to evolve

Sustaining the Shift - where individual shifts become a collective commitment and practice to keep going

Adaptive Leadership Practitioner - Internal Capability Depth
A 10-month pathway for selected senior leaders, mid-managers, and change practitioners identified as potential adaptive leadership influencers. Combines a two-day practitioner intensive, supervised practice, an action inquiry project applied to a real change initiative, and a monthly practitioner circle for ongoing peer supervision. Maximum 15 practitioners per cohort. Completion lead to accreditation to use all Adaptive Leadership tools and methods.

WHAT YOU GET

The ability to lead through change that has no clear end point, no fixed answer, and no guarantee of what comes next

Behaviours that hold under sustained pressure - not skills you apply, but ways of working that change how you show up when faced with complex challenges

For practitioner pathway graduates - an accreditation to use all Adaptive Leadership tools and methods, and the capability to grow that practice in others

HOW IT CONNECTS

The Masterclass Series works as a standalone entry point. It also pairs naturally with the Behavioural Simulation for organisations that want participants to experience adaptive behaviours in a live environment before or alongside the learning.

The Adaptive Health Check is recommended before the Applied Cohort Program and Practitioner pathway. It identifies where to focus the learning and makes the program more precise.
