Reset Workshop

A one-day working session that designs small but powerful changes to how an organisation or team operates, improving the conditions needed for it to adapt under pressure.

THE PROBLEM

Leaders complete a diagnostic. They finally have a precise read on what's happening in their organisation, and where to focus. Then they're handed a list of recommendations - and six months later, nobody has taken carriage of anything.
Insight without traction is just a more accurate picture of the same problem.
Knowing where to focus is not the same as knowing how to fix it. That’s the gap the Reset Workshop closes.

WHAT CHANGES

Leaders leave the Reset Workshop having designed a working mechanism, not a set of ideas for someone else to build. In the room, each reset is stress-tested against the kind of ongoing, complex change the organisation is actually facing – and is not signed off until it can hold up under real conditions.
Because leaders design and test the mechanism themselves, they own it outright. What gets handed to their teams isn't a set of ideas to interpret - it's something already built and ready to run.

WHAT IT INVOLVES

The Reset Workshop is a full-day working session that builds directly on the Adaptive Health Check results. It works at two levels.
The first half of the day resets individual mindsets. Leaders examine the defaults they fall into under pressure - the patterns that may be reinforcing the constraints the diagnostic identified. These are surfaced and deliberately interrupted.
The second half resets system conditions. Leaders identify the specific breakdown points in one or two of the adaptive capacity dimensions and design a precise, targeted change to how work actually happens. What they walk out with is a simple but surprisingly powerful lever for change.

WHAT YOU GET

Practical adjustments to the system conditions limiting your organisation or team's ability to adapt - things like how decisions get made or how information flows

A Reset Guide for each participant - a record of exactly what was designed in the room, what to watch for as it is implemented, and what to adjust as the system responds

A leadership group aligned on the same reset and ready to implement without needing to convince each other first

HOW IT CONNECTS

This workshop always follows the Adaptive Health Check - the diagnostic is what makes the day precise rather than generic.
For organisations that want to go further, resets can be extended into a live, six-week sprint - testing them in real conditions and building what works into a proven method that can be adopted elsewhere in the organisation.
