Dreams are more than just glimpses into our unconscious; they are powerful invitations to face the parts of ourselves we've yet to confront. They reveal the blocks we carry, not as a way to dwell in the past, but as an opportunity to evolve with intention.
Here’s how to navigate different phases of your dream journey.
Phase 1 - No recall: If you can’t remember your dreams, it’s time to set a clear intention before sleep. Tell yourself that you will remember your dreams and make it a priority. Focus on waking up with that intention.
Phase 2 - You remember, but can’t understand. When you start recalling your dreams but don’t understand them, it’s time to get more intentional. Start a dream journal, but don’t just write them down—use it to explore deeper meanings. Ask yourself questions about the dream and what resonates with your current life.
Phase 3 – Recognising patterns. As you begin to recognise recurring patterns in your dreams, it’s time to become fully aware of how these patterns reflect the unconscious habits and beliefs that shape your current reality. Now, the work is in consciously questioning these patterns - challenging long-held beliefs, confronting fears, and identifying areas of resistance. Dreams are revealing what’s holding you back, and this phase is about shifting your perspective and taking ownership of that awareness to start creating change.
Phase 4 – Transforming through dream awareness. At this stage, dreams are no longer just a reflection of your inner world, they are now a tool for transformation. When you wake up with an insight or strong emotion from a dream, don’t let it slip away. Dive deep into the symbolism and ask yourself, “How can I use this insight to transform my actions and mindset?” This phase requires active engagement - using your dreams to confront what’s holding you back and aligning your waking life with the healing your dreams are guiding you toward.
