A case of the emotional runs or are you emotionally constipated?

Emotions are the language of the body, and when we’re out of touch with them, it’s often a sign of deeper energetic blocks. If you're struggling with emotional intensity or numbness, there might be a pattern within your body that’s asking for attention.


When emotions feel out of balance, it’s time to pause and assess. Signs of emotional imbalance can show up as:

  • Difficulty experiencing pleasure or enjoyment

  • Emotional overload or feeling numb

  • Struggling with boundaries, being either overly dependent or disconnected

  • Experiencing patterns of giving without receiving in relationships


Start by identifying one emotional trigger you frequently experience and ask yourself, "What belief or story is behind this?" Then, slowly shift your response through mindfulness and self-compassion, allowing energy to move through you rather than block it.
